Principal's Message
At The Grove Education Centre, our vision is for engaged learners with unlimited possibilities.
We are delighted to welcome you to our school, a Reception to Year 12 learning community specialising in personalised and inclusive programs for children and young people.
We are dedicated to inclusion and excellence, valuing the unique cultural backgrounds of our families. Our approach is evidence-informed, presumes competence, promotes autonomy, and tailors support to individual needs. We honour neurodivergent culture, respect all communication styles, and celebrate diversity in every aspect of our community.
Our staff are supported through ongoing professional development and guidance from our Communication and Literacy Coach, ensuring they are highly effective communication partners and skilled in the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). This supports our students to become autonomous communicators.
We have worked tirelessly to enhance our outdoor learning environments, collaborating with the school community and therapists to create spaces that inspire, support wellbeing, are communication accessible, and promote learning. I am privileged to lead this inspiring community, and we are steadfast in our commitment to improving access, inclusion, and equity for all children and young people.
We look forward to your visit and the opportunity to share more about our school and our ongoing commitment to equity and excellence.
Please feel free to contact us if you would like a tour of our school. We look forward to welcoming you.
Veronica Joyce
Acting Principal
